TÓM TẮT ĐÓNG GÓP MỚI CỦA LUẬN ÁN

SUMMARY OF THE NEW CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE THESIS.
1. The thesis develops the HA-TOPSIS model for ranking alternatives in linguistic MCGDM. The model constructs a linguistic term scale from Hedge Algebras (HA), uses the semantically quantifying mapping (SQM) of HA to quantify linguistic terms according to their semantic ordering, and then determines the positive ideal solution (PIS), the negative ideal solution (NIS), semantic distances, and closeness coefficients within the semantic domain. Whereas conventional TOPSIS relies on crisp numerical values and FTOPSIS commonly uses membership functions, fuzzy numbers, and defuzzification, HA-TOPSIS performs quantification according to the semantic structure of HA, thereby preserving the relationship between linguistic assessments and ranking results. The model is verified through its application to a software supplier selection problem, together with sensitivity analysis and comparative evaluation against FTOPSIS and the linguistic 4-tuple model.
2. The thesis develops the EFAHP-4-tuple-HA model, which integrates an enhanced FAHP method with an HA-based linguistic 4-tuple representation to determine the weights of the criteria while controlling consistency and to rank alternatives on the same semantic basis. Its new components comprise a formula to determine the consistency index of a linguistic pairwise comparison matrix in the HA environment; the EFAHP-HA method to determine criteria weights; and an HA-based 4-tuple model to represent and aggregate assessments and rank alternatives. The model addresses the limitation of directly assigning criteria weights in some HA-based decision-making models and reduces the semantic separation between the stages of criteria-weight determination and alternative ranking. The model is verified using data from 16 retail SMEs in Vietnam, together with sensitivity analysis and comparative evaluation against HA-TOPSIS and FAHP-FTOPSIS.
3. The thesis develops a methodological framework for constructing dynamic MCGDM models in a HA-based linguistic information environment. The framework constructs a binary linguistic aggregation operation on a 4-tuple scale; the operation satisfies the required algebraic properties and is extended to an ordered n-ary aggregation operation. It also proposes an aggregation operation for missing data and a semantic decay mechanism to integrate historical data with current assessments. On this basis, a dynamic L-FAHP-L-FTOPSIS model based on HA is developed to determine criteria weights and rank alternatives across multiple time points under conditions in which the set of alternatives, the set of criteria, the panel of experts, or the data may change over time. The model is verified through multi-period assessments of the readiness for digital transformation of retail SMEs in Vietnam, together with sensitivity analysis and comparative evaluation against a related method.
